To complete research for your project use the following:
- Encyclopedias - Start your search with an encyclopedia- this will
give you broad overview of your topic. You can use the World Book
Encyclopedia in
the Library or the online encyclopedias:
Encyclopedia Britannica
World Book Online
- Books - Use books from the LJA and public libraries.
Many of the books from the LJA library are reserved on a cart behind
Ms. Cipolla's
desk.
You
can use these during your class, study halls, and before and after
school.
- Online Databases - Both EBSCO and Infotrac will
have information about renewable resources. After finding information
about your topic,
you may narrow your search to a particular country.
Example: If
you are researching solar power in China enter your search
as:
"Solar
Energy" AND China

around the world. To find international information, enter your topic
with the name of a specific country.
