The library is open Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm.

The library is open during the entire school day. If there is a class in session, students may work quietly and independently without disrupting the class.
High School students may use the library during free periods and lunch.
Middle School students can use the library for research during study hall with a teacher’s permission.

• No food or drink in the library
• Clean up after yourself – Put books and magazines back on the shelf, push in your chair, & throw away your garbage
• Do not move library furniture
• Use quiet voices
  

Quantity:
Students in 6-8 grade may borrow 4 items at one time.
Students in 9-12 grade may borrow 5 items at one time.

Duration:
Books - 2 weeks
Magazines –2 weeks for past issues, current issues Library Use only
Reference – Overnight, they must be checked out at the end of the school day and returned before school starts the following morning.
Videos – Library Use only

Faculty/staff do not have a limit to the number of items they may borrow. They may borrow items for one semester. All items must be returned on the last day of the semester.

Fines:
There are no fines for overdue materials. Students may not check out additional materials if another item is overdue. Any unreturned items at the end of the school year will be billed to the students’ account for the full cost of replacement.

Renewals:
Items may be renewed for one additional borrowing period. Students must bring the item to be renewed to the library for renewal.

Lost/Damaged Materials:
Students will be charged the full replacement fee for any item that is lost or damaged while checked out.

Reserving Material
If a book or any other library item is not available because it's already checked-out, see the librarian. The item can be placed on hold. The student will be notified when the item becomes available.
