In March of 2006, the Le Jardin Honors Ukulele Choir travelled to Japan as part of the Music Brings Us Together Program, an exchange program with Konan High School in Kobe, Japan. In addition to being a music exchange, the program also allows the students in the choir to experience Japan first hand. They stay with host families and take in many cultural sights. This year they visited Kyoto as well as Nara, where Japan's first capital was established in the year 710. As you can tell by looking at the pictures, a great time was had by all.
