Ways to Support Le Jardin

Giving Programs

There are several programs that you can give towards:

Capital Campaign - Bricks and Mortar, building projects, major construction or acquisitions
Kokua Fund - annual giving program; assists ongoing operational needs.
Endowment - Funds are deposited and earn interest for future use. Ordinarily, only a portion of the earned interest is spent on institutional needs.
Planned Giving - Outreach to those who wish to make a major gift through real estate, life insurance, and/or charitable gift arrangements.

Forms of Support

Cash - The cleanest and easiest method

Stock - Appreciated stock good for avoiding capital gains tax and receiving credit as charitable gift for the full market value.

Gift-in-kind - Tangible goods useful to our school are always appreciated. I.e.. Furniture, art, sports equipment, etc...

Planned Gifts - These gifts may include charitable trusts, life insurance and other arrangements, which are decided upon with the assistance of the donor's financial consultant, CPA, trust officer, and\or attorney. These may take a little longer to complete because of IRS rulings and approvals. In general, while our school may not benefit immediately from this type of gift, proceeds are generally larger and well worth the wait.
