High School Homecoming 2006

From September fifth to the seventh, Le Jardin Academy’s high school faculty and students were caught up in the excitement of our second annual Homecoming game and festivities. While the football players were busy preparing for their game, seniors Kris A., Westley M., Dylan S., Neil S., Rachel A., Brandi T., Nicole S., and Elizabeth “Villa” V. were fighting for the titles of homecoming king and queen.

Over the week, contestants participated in events such as an obstacle course, a pop culture trivia game based on the VH1 show “World Series of Pop Culture” shown over the summer, an improvisation show, and karaoke during the football half time.

Kris A. and Rachel A. were crowned king and queen and were given a royal brooch, crown, and sash. They will forever be remembered as the Le Jardin Academy 2006 Homecoming King and Queen. The evening ended with a homecoming dance, and the customary slow dance by the new royal couple.

In the second annual homecoming game, the seniors came out on top to win 32-26. The game was tied at the end of regulation play, with a resulting score that pushed the game into overtime.
