Science
The sixth grade bases its science curriculum on the Prentice Hall textbook series Science Explorer.  The three main topics covered are the Nature of Science, Climate and Weather, and Environmental Science.  Health is also included in the science curriculum.  Units on first aid, tobacco use, and another on puberty are planned.  If you have any expertise in any of the areas mentioned and you would be interested in getting involved, please contact me.

Grades are figured in the following manner:

Formative Assessment:  Homework, Class work, and Participation                          20%                                       
Summative Assessment:  Tests & Projects                                                           80%
