Second Grade Art

In grade 2, students are encouraged to be independent in thought and are stimulated by the introduction of various materials including clay, acrylic and watercolor paints, printing inks, collage, charcoal and pastels. They are challenged through discussions of subjects they are learning and motivated in problem solving, exploring and investigating new ideas.
