The Judicial Branch
In class, we studied the government. There were
four different groups. The groups each had to do a song or
a poem about The Judicial Branch, The Executive Branch, The
Legislative Branch, or Checks and Balances. My group and I
did a poem on the Judicial Branch. The class did this to teach
the other students about there branch or the checks and balances.
It was kind of hard but it was very fun.

Constitution
All of the fifth graders made up a constitution
where you could make the rules of the school and it could be
how you wanted it to be. I was not able to write a constitution
because I was sick but I do know it was alot of fun for the
students. I hope I will be able to be here if we do this
fun thing again.

What I Have Learned
When the class and I studied the government we
learned alot. I learned things like the branches
of government, the Judicial Branch, the Executive Branch, and
the Legislative Branch. Also when we did this unit on government
I learned the bill of rights which had ten rules in it and
more. There is so much interesting information in this unit
that I could go on for days telling you about it. When we did
this unit we also got in groups and told about each branch
which was really fun! I hope to continue learning about the
government and more of our history. |
