About Alyse

I am 11 years old and I was born in San Antonio, Texas, at Wilford Hall (hospital) on December 18, 1996. My dad is in the military, so we've moved a lot. After I lived in Texas, I moved to Tennessee, then Missouri, then Mississippi, back to Missouri, and then to Hawai'i. In Mississippi, my mom was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, just before hurricane Katrina threatened the whole Gulf of Mexico. She and my dad went to Missouri for better cancer treatment while my brother, my grandma, some friends, and I evacuated to more northern Mississippi. We met up with my mom and my dad in St. Louis, Missouri, after the hurricane passed. We were all there for 3 months until we moved here. We arrived at the Honolulu International Airport on January 1, 2005. I went to Lanikai Elementary Charter School for the second semester of 3rd grade, St. Andrews Priory for 4th grade and the first semester of 5th grade. Now I go here, Le Jardin Academy. My mom passed away on August 20, 2007, at 2:29 am. In conclusion, my life would probably take more than three pages to write down. So far, it's been the best 11 years of my life.
