Biodiesel will ruin us!
Bio-diesel is a specific type of oil in which they remove
the glycerin from the vegetable oil. It is used in diesel engines
instead of petroleum.
Although bio-diesel may sound like a good thing, it is not
the answer to our fuel crisis. It can have a negative effect
on the world. It will pollute the air and raise the price of
crops. Harmful emissions will be created by the bio-diesel.
One of these emissions is nitrogen oxide, which contributes
to the formation of smog, which we breathe in. Bio-diesel is
more expensive than petroleum – believe it or not. If
bio-diesel sits around it will clog and create bacteria in
your fuel tank. This, in the end, will result in farmers raising
their crop prices that we buy. Bio-diesel is available to the
public, but is hard to find.
Since bio-diesel is not a useful alternative energy, we should
keep looking for a replacement for petroleum. If you want to
stop the production of bio-diesel, you should buy vegetables
to make supply and demand higher. If you want to stop pollution
a lot, ride a bike, the bus, car pool, and walk. We need to
be responsible citizens and do our share to stop global warming
and help the environment.
