Government

Constitution

In our class, we got to be in three groups. We didn't choose the groups, it was a random drawing. The people who were in my group were Erin, Kelly, Noe, Janine, Amanda, Sara, and I. We had the choice to create a skit, song, or poem (none of the groups did a poem.) My group wanted to do a skit, we played along with it, but we then decided to make a song.

My group was doing a song about the Executive Branch. I learned what each type of government did. I learned a lot from that unit. Most of us took part in the song. It sounded great. The other groups were doing hysterical skits.

Governments Around the World

The unit that we've been working on is governments. It's a very interesting topic because there are all sorts governments. I never knew a thing about types of governments before I studied this topic. I've learned a lot about it so far. This topic about governments was a social studies unit that we did. There are Cabinets, Diets, Prime Ministers, and Emperors/Empresses in Japan. But here, there are Theocracies, Communists, Dictatorships, and more. I am amazed at how many types of governments there are.
