Persuasive Paragraph
Unfortunately our earth is slowly running out of the energy
that helps us survive. Lucky for us the wind is a source that
is renewable, and a dependable way to create electricity. Did
you know wind energy is also clean and efficient to use. This
renewable source could power 20% of the futures electricity,
but also help stop global warming too. Just a single wind turbine
can make about 50 kilo watts enough to power some of most of
your house. Imagine how much a wind farm produces. By setting
up wind farms and even just a few wind turbines we could make
a difference with the sea level and our economy (gas prices).
The problem we our facing is some people are just plain lazy,
they don’t think the wind really creates electricity.
Well I bet they didn’t know North Dakota makes 1,210
mega watts a day just with the wind. Also most people use fossil
fuels and don’t even think about how it hurts the earth.
If we could just at least consider using the wind source could
go green.
To take action you can start small by encouraging and making
people excited to use this amazing source. If you want to make
a bigger difference write to congress and ask to set up a wind
farm near your house. Also you can even see if there is a wind
farm near you that is willing to power you. We better make
a difference so we can feel good about going green by using
the wind.
