Government

The Legislative Branch

In a project that my class did, we were divided into three groups the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch,and the Legislative Branch. How you got chosen was Ms. Lee put l, e, or j in a bucket and you chose a letter. I got a l so I was in the Legislative Branch group. We had to make a rap, song, poem, or play. My group chose a rap. We all gave our ideas to me and Kevin and we made up a rap.

The Constitution

In class, we each wrote our own constitution(click on link above). My constitution explained who will run the government and what the punishments are if one disobeys the law.

 

Reflection

This government project was really fun and educational. I learned that there are three branches of government and that the president does not have all the power.
