Brain Games
This is Cole, Emma, Alex, and me playing
our brain game. I learned what the brain stem does. It
sorts all of the messages that are sent to your brain.
I also learned that the biggest part of your brain is also
the part of your brain that does your thinking for you.
Our game was a puzzle. You would get a question and if
you got it right you would put a piece on the board.

Brain Study
This is a human brain in an air tight case
at the Bishop Museum. When we were there I learned that
a dolphin brain is bigger than a human brain. I also learned
that our brains are eighty five percent water and that
it is surrounded by water. Some of the things that are
good for your brain are music, trying new things, drinking
water, and laughing.

Brain Visual
This is Doctor Belnap showing us a brain
that smells really bad because of the chemicals that they
put them in. It was the brain of a seventy year old guy
that died and she decided to show us his brain. I saw the
memory place, the cerebrum, and much more. We got to touch
the brain and it felt much firmer than it should because
of the chemicals that it was in.

In class we have been learning about rites
of passage. I did getting your drivers license. The purpose
of the project was to get us ready for nest year when we
have more decisions and we have more homework. A rite of
passage is a ceremony or a distinct change that happens throughouts
your life.
