Government Songs
For Social Studies we were supposed to make songs
on the branches of government we were assigned to and our
group got assigned to the Judicial Branch. We did a poem and
the
boys acted it out and the girls read the poem. I learned that
the Judge has a term that will last for a life term and cannot
be fired untill he quits. You must be 25 years old and you
have to be born in the USA or have parents that are born in
the
USA.

Constitution
This is a poster that has all the facts, ages,
and terms of all of the branches. I learned that all of the
branches need to have a person that is born in the USA or parents
that are born in the USA. All of the branches keep eachother
in check and none have too much power. We wrote constitutions in
class to say what we would do if we owned the school. Mine
said some things that are funny and some things that are
scary for the kids that would have to deal with them. I think
my school would be popular in the kids minds but not in the
parents minds.
