Brain Game

In this picture I am giving instructions to our game, Sense It. Our game lets us use your five senses (taste, smell, touch, sight and hearing) in various challenges. In the sight station you had to do a blotto activity where you had to tell what figures you saw through a dotted paper. In hearing you had to guess what was making a noise. In smell you had to guess what was brought up to your nose. In touch you had to guess all the objects that were hidden in a shoe box. In taste you had to guess what was put into your mouth. I learned that everyone senses things differently based on the variety of answers I got, especially for sight. If you passed all of the challenges you got a Life Saver.

Brain Trip

In these pictures you can see a brain from the Brain Exhibit at the Bishop Museum. I found that our brains our actually pretty huge compared to say the brain of a dog brain. I also learned how to find tumors in a brain. The screen looked like an x-ray of your head and you had to find the tumors that were represented by white dots. The object of the game was to only get out the tumors and not parts of the brain.

Brain Demo

In this picture Dr. Belnap is showing us a real live brain with another brain cut up into several pieces. Although it was kind of smelly and icky because of their preservatives but I still learned a lot. I learned how to identify the different parts of the brain in their cut up forms. Dr. Belnap also said the coating around the brain helps to protect the brain and keep it in place.

How to Deal With Bullying

The purpose of my project was to inform people hoe to deal with bullying problems in Middle School to High School. A few of my tips were:

1. Good friends can become bullies.

2. Don't join a bully.

3. If you get angry with someone always control yourself.

4. If you are ever bullied tell a trusted adult or ignore the bully.

5. Don't get revenge on the bullies.
