Constitution

In class we were put in groups to act out a certain branch of government. I was assigned to do a skit on the Judicial Branch. We made a fake scenario about a president raising taxes 5% for everything a citizen does good. My group therefore tried to impeach President Johnny English in order to keep takes down. I was the judge of it all, although I acted pretty poorly around the president. Except it was pretty funny when Johnny English was put in jail. After we impeached the president we all voted to make the president's advisor Bubba as the new president.

Governments Around the World

Through our whole government unit we learned about types of governments in the world. For example, we studied Theocracies, Communisms, Republics, Democracy's, Dictatorships, Monarchies and Fascisms. By doing this we learned how the countries like Japan, China, Germany, Italy, North Korea and of course the United States of America. I discovered that the U.S. had many key people in order to writing the perfect constitution as well as a perfect bill of rights. It is extremely amazing to me how they were able to think of such a balancing system.
