Hydropower is an excellent source of renewable
energy. Hydro power is a clean way to produce energy by using
the current of the river to spin a turbine. This reduces the
use of fossil fuels to make energy. It releases no pollution,
and it’s all contained in a dam so it’s environmentally
friendly.
There are many reasons why we should use hydro energy. One reason we should use
hydro energy is because it produces energy as long as there is water up the river
and lots of it. The top 5 states that produce the most power are. Washington,
California, Oregon, New York, and Alabama. The only drawback is that it changes
the current of the water harming animal’s habits. But you also have to
have a good river.
So remember that hydro energy is good for the environment, doesn't pollute, and
reduces the use of f fossil fuels.
